If you’re fond of mountain landscapes brimming with wonderful sceneries, then trekking is an activity you wouldnM’t want to miss out when on Thassos. The island is famous for its natural wealth and numerous trails, each offering its guests something unique. Go down whichever one of the trails that leads from one mountainous village to the other or ends up at one of the coastal settlements. If you are beginners, you can try a shorter and easier trail, whereas if you’re more experienced there are trails ready to challenge the next level out of you, such as the one leading up to the summit of Mount Ypsario, at 1,204 metres. Whichever trail you choose, one thing is certain: the views are more than rewarding.
