A unique experience

A stand-out event that takes place, come springtime, on Thassos. The Ypsarion Monopati Mountain Marathon is held to bring together those who love sports and nature. This is a mountain marathon across an amazing route filled with wonderful natural scenery, mainly through the Natura protected area, the rocky formations and forest of Arkefthos. 90% of the marathon comprises a hiking trail, 9% is across dirt roads while 1% is on asphalt.
